Letter from Interim Principal delaCruz
I am so honored and excited to continue my journey with you as Mountain Way's Interim Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Serving a community that I have grown to know and love is a true privilege. This past spring, I had the wonderful opportunity to work closely with many of our students, staff, and families, and I experienced the incredible heart and soul of this community. Our children are a constant reminder of the hope and promise the future holds.
My passion for education is rooted in the belief that every child should feel welcome, valued, and supported at school. This is a goal we achieve through our daily actions that demonstrate kindness, care, respect, and acceptance toward one another. Academically, I am committed to providing an inclusive and equitable education that empowers every student to reach their full potential.
It is my privilege to work alongside the MWE team of educators and partner with our students, families, and the community. Together, we will continue building a school where all students feel seen, supported, and confident in their abilities as learners and as amazing individuals.
